The Fulham Centre

Extension and refurbishment to existing South London building

The Fulham Centre consists of a mix of commercial and office space. The existing building is to be partially redeveloped by the  addition of a double-height glazed entrance lobby, a five-storey extension to the rear, new ground-level glazing and a refurbishment of the existing facades.

The new double-height glazed entrance lobby consists of a frameless glass envelope, supported by a bespoke steel goalpost structure.

Interface initially undertook a condition survey of the existing facades and contributed to analysis of redevelopment options. We were appointed from RIBA Stage 3 Developed Design and continue our role through to completion in 2022.

In 2023 the project was shortlisted for an Architects’ Journal Retrofit award in the “workplace over £10 million” category.
