David joined interface as a director bringing his experience of company leadership and extensive knowledge of facades and architecture to our growing team. David has been involved in the concept design through to tender and construction of multiple award winning projects throughout his career, and brings this expertise of realising and delivering architectural intent to our projects.

David’s interest in facade engineering allowed him to lead the development of the facade solutions on a broad range of projects from university research laboratories to bank head offices in the City of London.

His experience includes systems and material selection, detailing and construction technique, contractor selection and extensive contractor design development due to his desire to see projects built.

With David’s architectural background, we benefit from his approach to design challenges with an impulse to satisfy all requirements. This, alongside his notable experience of managing the business growth of highly acclaimed practices, is a great asset to the planned development of interface as a dedicated facade engineering consultancy.
