The Dumont

Two adjacent towers stepped in height and plan

The Dumont, designed by David Walker Architects and delivered by EPR Architects, is located within the Vauxhall Nine Elms Battersea Opportunity Area and will provide 141 residential dwellings as part of a riverside tower block development.

The unitised cladding to the 29 storey building has two storey frames of glazed terracotta and faience. Ribbed terracotta is inset next to the Juliet sliding doors. The thermal performance has necessitated triple glazing, which assists in the high acoustic performance being provided.

We were appointed to carry out the developed concept design and technical design, through to detailed and contractor design stages. Our role continued throughout the facade installation until complete.
